War is not politically correct: Except in Obama land

What should have been a glorious victory in the war on terror is becoming a politically corrected farce.  When President Obama announced on Sunday May 1 that our brave Navy SEALs shot and killed Osama Bin Laden, our country rejoiced.  Even right wing talk show host Michael Savage congratulated President Obama and our military for a job well done.  However, after dithering for three days, Obama decided that we should not offend the enemy by releasing pictures of the deceased murderer Bin Laden.  Instead, he proclaimed, “The fact of the matter is this was somebody who was deserving of the justice that he received, and I think Americans and people around the world are glad that he is gone.  But we don’t need to spike the football.”  I say Mr. President there are about 3,000 reasons why we should “spike the football”. Most of them were reduced to ash thanks to Bin Laden and the millions of Americans that watched them die live on T.V. deserve to choose for ourselves whether we want to see those pictures or not.  I believe that the majority of Americans do not care what the rest of the world thinks.  We have a right to see for ourselves that the murdering Bin Laden is dead and to hell with the Arab world.

As the World Trade Center burned and more that 3,000 innocent Americans fried, Bin Laden, and Muslims throughout the Arab community rejoiced shouting Death to America! Supporters of Bin Laden proudly broadcast the beheading of Daniel Pearl and Nick Berg “spiking the football” for Bin Laden. The celebration of a major win in the war on terror should not be squelched by showing weakness, sensitivity, and political correctness.  We won Mr. President!  Let the American people celebrate their victory.  Let us “spike the football” and show us the pictures of a dead Bin Laden.  Now is not the time for you to quake in your boots fearful that someone might be offended Mr. Obama.  The American people were greatly offended on September 11 2001.  It is time for you to put political correctness aside, stand up for America,”spike the football”, and show us the pictures.
