The Democratic secretary of state in New Mexico thinks voters are incapable of filling out their ballot without help.
Maggie Toulouse Oliver penned an editorial in the Albuquerque Journal advocating for the return of straight-ticket voting, which would allow voters to check one box, such as Democrat, and vote for every Democrat on the ballot

Wow, this person thinks they are better than others. Basically, Oliver is calling the people “deplorable” with the following statements:~~~~ Oliver also claims voting is too difficult, unless voters can just check the “Democrat” box.
“Unfortunately, some see practices that ease the voting process or encourage more people to vote as negative,” she said. “Their goal is to make it as hard to vote as possible because when more people vote they lose. And they’ll do anything to try and convince voters otherwise.”
“Straight party voting makes it much easier for voters of all stripes to cast a ballot,” Oliver continued. “The reality of straight party voting is that more voters will be able to participate in the voting process, and the process itself will be quicker and easier.”
The true problem, Oliver explains, is voters cannot understand ballots.~~~~~ Oliver is the same as sawing the voters are deplorable and stupid. Oliver must think pretty highly of ones self. Shame, shame.

I think what the article is trying to imply is that democrats believe minorities are too stupid to be able to read and comprehend the ballot. The democrats believe that it would be better if they only had one box to check. [x] DEMOCRAT. That way they are assured more wins.

Just minorities? mmmm, Well if the case is that Oliver believes Minorities are too stupid to be able to read and comprehend the ballot, then I say that Oliver isn’t as smart as the minorities. Those minorities didn’t get where they are by being stupid. Yea, I remember the days at the jail. They couldn’t speak English until they thought it was their release date, then they knew English perfectly well! In my mind, it is still on the same level as Hillary calling people deplorable.
But as always, you know more about politics than I do. 🙂

Well the same line of thinking that the author uses in the article, is the same line of thinking that democrats have used for years while debating their opposition to making people show picture ID when voting. Minorities are too stupid to understand how to get picture ID.
