Obamacare has been really bad for the United States. There was a reason for denying preexisting conditions. There was a reason that children couldn’t stay on insurances until they were 26. With Obamacare, some people can actually be triple covered, something Obama didn’t think out very well. Obamacare caused my insurance rates to go up, my deductibles to go up. Something major would have to happen for me to get any benefit from my insurance. My employer pays $1025 per month on me, plus I pay additional premiums out of my pay. My deducible is $3000,then if I am lucky it pays 80 percent. That is over $15000 a year that is paid on me, and I don’t even have enough medical needs to meet my $3000 deductible. Oh and mind you, that $3000 covers 3 people so even with three people on my insurance, we don’t have enough medical bills to meet the three thousand dollars. What I would give to have that $15000.00 in my pocket. Obamacare is nothing but a rip off. Hell, the insurance company’s cant even make money on it.
To add to my above statements, not only does my employer pay the premiums mentioned above, my daughter and my ex spouse’s employer also pays premiums to cover the same people. My ex pays premiums on my son, whom is also covered on my policy. My daughter and my ex both work for the same governmental agency. That governmental agency made an internal policy not to double cover two employees in the same department. So to cover our son, my ex has to have the family insurance, but he cant have our daughter on his plan because she is already covered on her own plan. I have my daughter on my plan so she to is double covered. Thus, if my daughter and my ex’s employer pays the same $1025 a month and just for argument sake we will assume that they also have the $3000 deductible, that totals another $15000 EACH that gets paid to insurance company for my son and daughter that never gets used on us. My deductible is for all of us, it is not per person. In other words, If i would be hospitalized, and met the $3000, it is met for all of us.
I apologize, I just realized that auto correct was not correcting my spelling of deductible correctly on my post above.
