In what may be the longest ten minutes of her life, Senator Ted Cruz picks up where he left off in the previous hearings in July in which ICE Director Sarah Saldana testified, and in which he received the customary less than satisfactory responses. Once again Saldana attempted to offer a repeat performance with incomplete, evasive and combative responses to the Senator’s questioning. The entire exchange is typical of the Obama administration’s aversion to oversight and their predisposition to arrogant lawlessness, and their low regard for their oaths of office. Cruz gives her the business on behalf of the American people as she blatantly avoids direct and honest answers. She’s clearly of the same mindset as the vast majority of members of the Obama regime, that they are above the law, that the rules are written for everybody else and they are permitted to pick and choose which laws apply to them and which will be enforced.
