Has the meaning of the word no changed? If not, then why are RINO loving millionaires and the left wing media continuing to beg New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to run for President? Governor Christie has repeatedly told his supporters and the media that he does not think he is ready for the Presidency. If he were to throw his hat in the ring now, he would jeopardize any credibility and integrity that he has.
The American people are searching for a strong leader who will stand by their word. For almost two years, Governor Christie has proven that he might be that leader. Governor Christie is only 49 years old. He has plenty of time to expand on his experience
and his straightforward “give em hell” reputation. Currently, he appears to be a man of his word. He cut job-killing taxes, increased education funding by 850 million dollars, and balanced his state’s budget, as he said he would.
During the question and answer session, which followed his September 27th speech in the Ronald Reagan Library, he reaffirmed his position that he was not going to be a candidate for President by referring people to a montage of video clips on the Politico website.
Obviously, the liberal media will run this video montage repeatedly in an effort to destroy Governor Christie’s credibility if he chooses to run for President at this time.
So again I ask, has the meaning of the word no changed? Perhaps the establishment elite republicans and the millionaire RINO loving supporters forgot about the election of 2010. “Tea Party conservatives” won that election in an overwhelming landslide. Many of
the incumbent RINO republicans lost their bid for re-election during their primaries. Although Governor Christie has some conservative qualities, he understands that he governs in an extremely “blue” state. His RINO positions on illegal immigration and global warming would hurt him during an election cycle that favors conservatives. If Governor Christie has the integrity to continue to say no to a presidential candidacy, he will prove that he is a man of his word and that the word no still means no, not maybe. He will also show that pleading, begging, and throwing money at him cannot change his mind.
I hope that Governor Christie will stand on principle and prove that no still means no. If he does, then 2016 or 2020 may prove to be quite advantageous for him.
